Ingredients
😈 12 eggs
😈 1/2 cup mayo (plus extra for garnish)
😈 1/4 cup Alive Ferments Mild Green
😈 A whole lot of Mild AF seasoning (to taste, plus extra for dipping)
😈 Green food coloring (as needed)
😈 1 teaspoon white vinegar
😈 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
😈 Capers (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Eggs:
- Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan. Cover them with water and add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar.
- Bring the water to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, cover the saucepan and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.
- After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for a few minutes. Once cool, peel the eggs and set them aside.
- Prepare the Filling:
- Cut the peeled eggs in half lengthwise. Gently scoop out the yolks and place them in a bowl.
- Mash the yolks with a fork until they are finely crumbled.
- Add the mayo, Alive Ferments Mild Green, yellow mustard, and Mild AF seasoning to the yolks. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Add green food coloring a few drops at a time, mixing until you achieve your desired spooky green hue.
- Spooky Rim:
- Before filling, dip the cut edge of each egg white half into additional Mild AF seasoning to create a spooky rim effect.

- Spoon or pipe the green yolk mixture back into the seasoned egg white halves.
